Life Talk & School Talk! Chiang Kai Shek College (CKSC), my current school, will be having a fun run on Sunday. I know it is still Friday and we still have the whole Saturday before Sunday but I’m a little bit excited to “run” with my friends so I already prepared what I’ll be wearing on the day itself. [Click image view] We got our shirts earlier, or so I thought it was a t-shirt but it turned out to be a sleeveless one. I thought our school was the conservative type. Haha.
) I guess I was wrong :P Anyway, this post will have two part, the before and after fun run. Before fun run is my post about the preparations to be done before exercising. The after fun run post will be about the CKSC Fun Run and whatever that might happen after the fun run. Expect this to be a long post.
Before the Fun Run- Running, playing basketball, or doing any particular exercise/sports is good for our health and our body. But there are some things we should do before doing so as not to make your exercise backfire and cause you to get sick instead of getting healthy. Here’s what you should do: (1) Eat an hour before you start your exercise. This will make you have more energy. (2) Stretching minutes before you start exercising as not to feel any muscle pains or cramps. Remember to give an hour time allowance after eating before you start stretching. (3) This last one is for the girls, wear sports bra. It may feel uncomfortable at first but you’ll get used to it after a while. “Exercising without a sports bra could cause sagging and pain. In absence of sports bra, the breasts move in an uncontrolled movement straining the fragile tissues and ligaments. This eventually results in chafing and sagging breasts.” [Source] I know guys do wear their own stuffs too during sports but I’m a girl and I don’t really know what the guys should wear so just look it up on the net. :D
After Fun Run – My friends picked me up 4 in the morning and we went to San Juan (for only 10 minutes from my place!
) to pick up my girl bestfriend. We were a bit too early upon arriving on the venue so we had breakfast at Mcdonald’s before the run. I got to meet my school professors, my DLSU friends, Kho Association & KYL members. It was so great that there were so many participants, however, we weren’t able to run properly because of it.
But then again, I had fun and that is what matters the most; afterall, it is a ‘Fun Run’.
We had coffee at Cafe Breton after the run, then we had lunch at Teriyaki Boy. While waiting for the movie to start, we went to play at Timezone and went to sing at the karaoke. We must do it again! We watched the movie ‘Inception’ and boy, do I recommend it to all of you. The movie was great. Genius I should say! Gotta watch it for the second time~!
After the movie, my friends got to go home and only the three of us were left. We went to eat at Burger King where I only had a sundae, and soon after, my parents came to pick us up. We went to Robinson’s Place to pick up my lil brother. He went to watch ‘The Last Airbender’ with his friends. He told me it wasn’t good. I kinda already expected that. :| Well, we met another friend at Robinson’s Place and ordered Art’s Cream gallery’s ’All In One’- 12 ice cream flavors for only P450/$9!
And that was the end of my day. ^_^ I got to sleep now. I only had an hour sleep last night and I definitely need to sleep early to be able to wake up on time for class tomorrow. I still got an exam. -_-
Site Talk! I want to thank the people who answered my question on which anti-spam WP-plugin I should use especially to Nayana, Georgina, Pam, Joisu, and Ayei for recommending Akismet. It works so well indeed! You may get a free personal use API key at Akismet. That’s where I got mine
Hello everyone! Obviously, this site is owned by me, Grysh Co, an avid blogger since 2002, manga addict, occasional gamer, retired cosplayer, part-time photography subject, full-time artist muse and girlfriend of the artist. Just by looking at my photo I'm sure you can tell that I'm Asian, Chinese to be specific; however, currently residing in a tropical country called Philippines.
I love programming, dancing, singing and especially pigging out. To eat is my specialty. I adore Garfield for his sarcasm and Pucca for she looks just like me (or so they say). My beloved J, family & friends are of great importance to me. I would kill for them. Backstabbers, bashers, and social climbers should stay away from me. Have fun browsing!
